St Michael's Hall, Yeovil
This community hall was the only available structure large enough for a barrage balloon to be fully inflated inside in order to carry out repairs during WW2. Yeovil has around 25 barrage-balloon sites mainly to protect the Westlands airfield and aircraft manufacturing site.
