Drill Hall Yeovil

Yeovil Drill Hall was completed in 1913 and was the recruiting and drill place for volunteers in the D Company, West Somerset Yeomanry, E Company, 5th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry and B Squadron Dorset Yeomanry. It was equipped with a 90 foot rifle range.
During WW2 it was the site of the Company Reserve and Quarter Masters Store of the Yeovil Home Guard, 3rd Battalion, South Somerset Group.
Today it is an Army recruiting office and headquarters of various cadet units.
