Noda Farmhouse Rhenen

Noda farmhouse on the Nude, between Rhenen and Wageningen was in the Second World War an important link. The farm was the nerve centre for food shipments as the Gelderland Valley was flooded and the road through the Nude was the only suitable route for food transports. In Noda farm there was a regular consultation between the Germans and the Canadians. The food shipments were the reasons for the negotiations to take place at Wageningen.

On both sides of the road are information signs about Operation Faust: Food transports to the starving west.
