War Memorial Wijhe

This memorial commemorates the inhabitans of Wijhe, who fell in the Second World War. It also commemorates the Canadian Lieutenant H.H. Anderson, who fell on 11 April 1945 during the liberation of Wijhe. There is also a sign for Anderson combined with 3 pilots, John Hardy, Graeme Weir and Canadian Frederick Broad.

The Dutch fallen from the "police actions" (1947-1948) are also commemorates in a small plaque attached to the memorial.
