Jewish Monument Geesbrug

The Jewish Monument commemorates the Jewish victims of the camp Geesbrug.
In 1942 there are more than 200 Jewish men stayed in this camp.
Most did not survive the war.
The memorial is on the access road to the former camp.

On the stone is the following:

Give me the courage to recognize injustice
Even where it is justified by centuries of use,
The determination of injustice never get used to,
Even where the power to take it away apron.
Jacqueline van der Waals

as forced laborers in labor camps.
On October 2, 1942 they were to kamp Westerbork
drained and thence to German extermination camps.
