Fort de Souville
This fort was built from 1876 to 1877. It was modernised in 1888. During the Battle of Verdun (1916), Fort de Souville played an important role and saw heavy fighting.
The fort today:
Fort Souville can be visited and is one of the main touristic sights in the Verdun region.
