Commonwealth War Grave 's-Hertogenbosch (Orthen)

On the protestant area of Cemetery Orthen in 's-Hertogenbosch is one Commonwealth war grave from the First World War.
This is the grave of:

CAMBRIDGESHIRE REGIMENT - 11-11-1918
Second Lieutenant Gilbert Thomas Gore McMicking, age 24.

Information provided by the Royal Anglian Regiment Archives mention that McMicking was on vacation in Germany in July 1914 and was made and a prisoner of war. He escaped, was arrested and escaped again. He died in a hospital in 's-Hertogenbosch, unfortunately it is unknown how he ended up here.
