Location "Loods 24" Rotterdam

Loods 24 was used in World War II by the Germans as a assembly place for the deportation of thousands of Jewish residents of Rotterdam.
From Loods 24, between 24-07-1942 and 22-04-1943, 6536 Jewish people were deported.

There is now a large lawn on the site of the former Loods 24 (Warehouse). Out of respect for all deported Jews, this part of Rotterdam has remained free of buildings.
