Castle Tongelaar Memorial

This castle of around 1292 was used as a quarter in may 1940 by the 3-I-6e Regiment Infantry which was involved in the battle around Mill on the 10/11th of May 1940.

The second person on the monument is A.M. Hovers. He is buried on the cemetery in Tilburg.

In the courtyard of the castle is a memorial stone for the 5 fallen Dutch soldiers.
