Memorial Kurt Singer

This plaque commemorates Kurt Singer, who lived here. He was a music-scientist and in his house he started the Kulturbund Deutsche Juden (Cultural Movement German Jews).

In 1938, he emigrated to Amsterdam. He was arrested there in 1943 and was deported to Theresienstadt, where he died in 7 Februar 1944.
