    Biography

    Inducted on 23rd September 1942 and in active service on 7th October 1942 at the Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
    Departed for Europe on 2nd July 1944 and arrived in England on 9th July 1944. Took part in the air landings in Normandy, Market Garden, the Battle for the Ardennes and the Battle for the Rhineland. Departed for the United States on 16th November 1945 and arrived there on 27th November. Was honorable discharged on 4th December.
