Pillbox Dadi Beach

Second World War Japanese pillbox built into a rock outcrop on Dadi Beach, Naval Base Guam (Santa Rita, Guam). After their 1941 invasion, the Japanese constructed an elaborate interlocking system of pillboxes, strong points and trenches around the base of Orote Peninsula to defend the airfield. The pillbox is part of the Naval Base Guam Historic Trail (Naval Base access required).
