Stumbling Stones Merwedeplein 38

'A HUMAN BEING IS FORGOTTEN ONLY WHEN THE NAME IS FORGOTTEN'
(Talmud)

Here in Amsterdam two Stumbling Stones were laid for:

EMILIE BÜCHENBACHER-DESSAUER, murdered on May 7, 1943 in Sobibor.

ANNA BUBETTE ROSIN-BÜCHENBACHER, murdered on May 28, 1945 in Tröbitz.

These Stumbling Stones are here for Jewish war victims, deported and murdered in the Second World War.
