GRANDJEAN Mathieu (Mathias), age 21, from Liège, member of the Armée Secret, killed Sept. 6, 1944 at the Fôret Massacre. Also mentioned on the monument to the fallen of the Armee Secret at Fôret.
HOCKE Guillaume, age 28, native of Neu-Moresnet (La Calamine), guard in the gendarmerie and after dissolving his service as a result of the war, member of the resistance group S.R.A. Service de Reseignements Anglais. After committing acts of sabotage, he was captured and sentenced to death on November 25, 1941. The execution was carried out on December 28, 1941 in the Citadel of Liege, where he was buried until his reburial in La Calamine. Also located in La Calamine is a monument to Guillaume Hocke. STEFFENS Léon, age 30, from La Calamine, sergeant with the Regiment Caribiniers, with a company (drawn) guns of 47 mm, killed in Kanne on May 10, 1940. There buried at the Kanne war cemetery under in the frenzy of war gene with the erroneous name STOFFENS Leo, transferred to La Calamine in 1948.
