Commonwealth War Graves Old General Cemetery Wierden

Wierden Old General Cemetery contains a plot of 21 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, all airmen who were shot down in the area from 1942 onwards.

The soldiers killed in the neighbourhood during the liberation of Wierden were Canadians and were taken to the Canadian Cemetery at Holten.
