Drop Zone Y

Drop Zone Y (Ginkelse Heide), the place were Brigadier-General Hacketts 4th Brigade, 1st Britisch Airborne Division landed on September 18th 1944. This is also the place where during the annual commemorations of the Batte of Arnhem a lot of parachute jumps are made.
On this dropzone, two memorials can be found.
