Jacob Gerhard Kuijt was born in Zaandijk on November 13, 1878. He was a retired planter. He was arrested for expressing love for the Queen and Fatherland and disgust for the NSB. On September 20, 1942 died in the "Oranjehotel" in The Hague from malnutrition.
