Harry Eugene Dowling was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania on November 3rd, 1918. He enlisted in Los Angeles on April 21st, 1941 as Surgical Technician and was placed with the Medical Detachment of the 17th Infantry Regiment. He left for warservice in the Aleeutian islands on April 24th, 1943, to arrive there on May 11th. He took part in the fightings for the Aleutians Islands, the eastern Mandates and the Southern Philippines. He returned to the United States on March 28th, 1945.
Harry E. dowling was honorably discharged on September 28th, 1947.
