Memorial Waco CG-4

On 19 September 1944, a Waco CG-4, on its way to Son in Operation Market Garden, landed here.

The crew, 5 men of the 101th Airborne Division, 401th Glider Regiment, were hided by the local population. Later on, they could join the Allied Forces.
