Villa Boschhoeve was located directly on the landing zone in Wolfheze. The house was lost on September 19, 1944. The house in English cottage style, bent like a crescent moon - with the accompanying thatched roof - went up in flames. During shelling by German fighters on 19 September 1944 on the numerous gliders that had landed for two days on land in the immediate vicinity of De Boschhoeve (Landing Zone "S"), the thatched roof of the house was hit by grenades from the German on-board weapons, with the fatal outcome.
